Infusion

Boil water, turn off the heat and add the plant. Immediately cover the pot and let sit for 7 minutes. Finally, strain and drink it hot. This form of preparation is appropriate for flowers and leaves because it allows the medicinal properties of plants to be preserved.

Avoid sweetening the infusion. If you can't do without it, use natural products like brown sugar or honey.

Cooking

IF YOU ARE GOING TO DRINK THE PREPARATION: the flowers, leaves and stems are boiled for 3 to 5 minutes. The roots (previously ground), should be boiled for 3 to 8 minutes maximum.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE REMEDY EXTERNALLY: the flowers, leaves and stems are boiled for 5 to 10 minutes. The roots (previously ground) should be boiled for 10 to 30 minutes maximum.

Take into account

No plant should be boiled for oral administration to children. Instead of cooking them, prepare them as an infusion.
